Photography Journey

As I began to get more serious about photography I had many professionals tell me that I needed to start shooting in manual only. Professional photographers shoot in manual with few exceptions, so this was great advice. I, however ended wasting a lot of time initially because I was guessing and I wasn't understanding why my images were turning out how they were. If you have been shooting in auto (program mode) and you are ready to start having more control over your images, my advice is to start shooting in aperture priority first (shutter speed will automatically be selected for you). Once you feel confident about manipulating aperture to get the look you desire, then switch to shutter priority mode and become really comfortable at determining what shutter speeds are needed for each subject. If you will really take the time to experiment with these two modes individually before making the jump to manual, I think your manual expertise will come so much quicker. --tara lynn

I've always used eating adjectives to describe babies. Babies are delicious... yummy.. sweet... creamy... buttery babies... I think it's because I love to NiBbLe their toes, sneak some SuGar out of their wrinkly little necks and KiSs their sweet mouths. I Love babies and this little girl is especially delectable!
